League Rules
The Henry Hudson Youth Soccer club will use the Capital District Youth Soccer League (CDYSL) Rule Book and U8-U10 Small Sided Rules as the basis for competition. Specific to those rules, the recently revised FIFA “Laws of the Game” apply to all competitions except as provided by USYSA, ENYYSA, CDYSL or specified herein:
Game Starts:
Games that start more than 5 Minutes Late may have their games shortened in order to accommodate the next scheduled game, if one is scheduled. Please have players arrive prior to the start of their scheduled game, ready to play, to limit delays.
Borrowing Players:
There will be no borrowing of players from any team, except where approved by an HHYS Board Member. Decreasing players per side to accommodate a team without players is allowed with both Coaches approval. If multiple players are needed by both playing teams, then players will be selected one at a time by the coaches of the playing teams. Adding players should not exceed the roster size for your team. Added players are NOT to have more playing time over members of the team they are substituting for.
Dogs on the Field
Please leave your dogs at home for games, as they are not permitted on school property while games are in progress. Thank you!
Parking for Games
Parking for all games will be back by the MS gym in the parking lot. Please do not park on the side of the road, or on any grass. The parking lot behind the woods is not available for Summer Rec Soccer.
